Active women in the community, responsible in the family
Increasing the participation of women in social life in Bethlehem and the Hebron region, Palestine
Aim of the project: to improve the quality of life of 100 women in Bethlehem and the Hebron Region between the ages of 20-40, whose children are affected by hearing disabilities. The project mainly addressed the need to know one’s rights and increase motivation for responsible participation in family and community life. Indirectly, the project thus contributed to increasing the access of children with disabilities to an educational and medical recovery path adapted to their needs.

- 100 women participated in workshops on human rights and cineforum workshops on the role of women in society
- More than 100 parents were involved in the educational and hearing recovery process of their own children
- The Effeta Institute has strengthened its methodology for providing socio-educational services for children with educational disabilities and their families
