Supporting host and refugee communities in Lebanon to deal with the spread of Covid-19 Support for the emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic
Aim of the project: reduce the spread of COVID-19 in vulnerable Lebanese communities and within host communities by supporting 12 local municipalities in Rachaya District and promoting hygiene measures.

Results obtained:
- Training of 61 operators employed in the sanitation of public spaces in the 12 municipalities to effectively intervene in cases of Covid-19 infections
- Training 26 young people from the 12 municipalities for life skills training on the prevention and control of COVID-19
- Distribution of sanitary materials and an awareness campaign to correctly inform the population about ways to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus
- Exchange of experience regarding the intervention in vulnerable communities for the prevention and control of COVID-19
