Education Changes Lives

“One of the main social responsibility strategies of Decathlon Romania is the education of children through sports, and we are glad that the FDP Association - Protagonists in Education has given us the opportunity to contribute to the fulfillment of this common goal. The Sports Social School program has a large impact on children from disadvantaged backgrounds. It directs them towards a fair and complete educational path, helps them achieve better school results and gives them the opportunity to exercise”.

"During the pandemic, the association that takes care of them brought food to parents left without jobs. Now they are back on the field, with students from two schools, one from the Eastern part, the other from the West part of Bucharest. The project is called the Sports Social School. These children have few alternatives in life. But if they stay in school, education can remain one of them."

"Since 2018, the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Sector 6 has been honored to collaborate with the FDP Association - Protagonists in Education in order to support disadvantaged people. A successful project of the Association is the "Social Sports School Bucharest Sector 6", which brought joy and an oasis of health in the Giulești-Sârbi community, in Sector 6. Over time, the Association has shown seriousness and involvement in all the projects in which we collaborated, being actively involved in supporting vulnerable people”.
